A Breast Cancer Awareness "Pink-Out" will be held campus-wide on Oct. 15 to recognize October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink T-shirts and various paraphernalia are available for purchase at Seneca Dining Hall to raise awareness and money for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of Central New York, Inc.

According to a pamphlet of the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, 1 of every 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetimes. Baldwin has designed a program in Central New York that keeps 100 percent of locally raised funds in the area. Seneca Dining Hall Manager Bruce Hirsch said he supports the fund because it takes care of "people in our own world."

Please contact Elizabeth Baldwin of the Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY, Inc. at phone number 315-672-5288 with questions, concerns or suggestions. "She puts a personal spin on anyone that reaches out to them," Hirsch said.
