Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods' televised public apology to many people seemed like a well rehearsed play, while others think and truly believe every word that he said. Officials at Sportsmedianetwork.com said that to many viewers, his apology was as if "conducted by a robot." Perfectly calculated and with not the slightest sincere feeling in it. There were some that thought Tiger's body language did show remorse and truth. Critics have said that the apology was a lot more focused to his sponsors and less towards his wife and family. His speech was an attempt to gain the sympathy of the media.

Woods' life began to unravel the night his wife, Elin Nordegren, began addressing her suspicions towards Woods' having an affair. The night ended with Nordegren smashing in Woods' SUV windows, resulting in Woods crashing his vehicle into a fire hydrant and a tree, according to TMZ.com.

After the discovery of Woods' five-month affair with night club manager and event planner, Rachel Uchitel, many other women began to come forward including nightclub workers, porn stars, television anchors and even neighbors claiming to have had sexual relations with Woods, says TMZ.com. Uchitel, who has managed the VIP section of "some of the most successful clubs in New York," has denied being involved with Woods, according to couriermail.com. Woods has admitted infidelity to his wife, and more than a dozen women have claimed to have had affairs with Woods.

Daily News staff writer, Jose Martinez, reported that Woods is being treated for his sex addiction at a clinic called Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, MS. The woodsy, fenced in Mississippi clinic's officials would not confirm Woods' arrival.

Patients sign a celibacy contract that bans all sexual contact, including masturbation, while in treatment. Also included in the program are 12-step meetings, art therapy sessions and brutal honesty. This sexual addiction program is created by Dr. Patrick Carnes, who has pioneered treatment for sexually compulsive behavior, according to officials at CNN.com.

Woods' sex fantasies are "not normal," said Playboy model, Loredana Jolie, who claims to have slept with the golfer. Jolie told the New York Post that Woods "would engage in sex from 9 p.m. until the sun came up the next morning." The Huffington Post also claims that Jolie said, she "is not really sure rehab for sex addiction will help him."

Woods, who has become a punch line for comedians starting in December, has said he is taking a leave from golf to sort out his personal life, giving no hints as to when he might return.
